1. How long is your cosmetology program?
Our cosmetology program takes approximately 7 months. This may vary slightly by student performance.

2. What do you provide in the student kit?
Our student kit includes necessary tools (mannequins, blowdryer, scissors, brushes, etc.), state exam books, and specialized Sassoon workbooks and DVDs.

3. When do I get the opportunity to practice on a real person?
After 12 weeks of learning the basic principles of haircutting on mannequin heads, you will advance to the senior floor where you'll be working on clients under the supervision of our licensed educators.

4. What are the graduation requirements?
In order to graduate, you must complete 1,000 state required hours and remain in good academic standing. You must also meet all of your financial obligations to BCA.

5. When can I start school?
BCA has an open enrollment policy and programs are offered continuously. Classes start approximately on a six week rotation. Please consult with the BCA Registrar regarding specific start dates.

6. Do I need to have a high school diploma?
Yes, a high school diploma, GED, or its equivalent is required in order to enroll at BCA.

7. How much is tuition at your cosmetology schools?
We offer competitive tuition rates to those who want to learn how to become a hairdresser. Please contact BCA directly for specific pricing.

8. Are there payment plans available?
Yes, BCA has flexible payment plans options available. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.

9. Do you guarantee job placement following graduation?
While we cannot guarantee job placement, we offer all of our BCA graduates assistance to help find employment opportunities.
